Come and join us for a habitat walk, we will take our explorer bag and head of into the wood looking for signs of animal life as well as all the amazing plant life that is ever changing at the wood. We may not see any animals but we will without a doubt see signs of who lives here!!!

The children will be given buckets to collect things on their walk, We will then celebrate habitats by making our very own, for a hedgehog, or a mouse or even a rabbit! They all need different locations, they all have predators they are hiding form, all this must be considered before we start creating! Bring your own explorer bag if you want to, mine is filled with magnifying glasses, string, binoculars, identification book etc!

We will meet outside the barn at the ranger meeting point, 5 minutes before activity starts, you are welcome to come for a walk, or enjoy the wilderness café, with a children’s library, chalk boards, colouring and much more!
