For children aged 0–5 years | Pre-walker siblings come FREE
Every Thursday during term time | 10:30am – 12:00pm (Winter Term runs from 6th November – 11th December (note: there is no session on 18th December)

We’re so excited to welcome Claire back to the woods for our much-loved Squirrels Forest School sessions at the beautiful Wilderness Wood in Hadlow Down!

These gentle, playful mornings are a wonderful way for young children and their grown-ups to explore, create, and connect in nature. Whether it’s your first forest adventure or a returning favourite, every session is full of discovery, laughter and learning under the trees.

Led by our wonderful Forest School leader, Claire, the Thursday playgroup is open to all children aged 0–5. Expect a nurturing mix of nature play, hands-on creativity, and plenty of space for imaginations to run wild.

What to expect:

• Seasonal exploration and wildlife discovery

• Games, crafts and confidence-building activities

• A welcoming community of families

• A rich blend of nature play, creativity, and meaningful first experiences that nurture the whole child.

Whether you’re splashing in puddles, building dens, or toasting snacks over the fire, there’s always something magical happening in the woods.

When: Every Wednesday during term time 
Time: 10:30am – 12:00pm
Where: Wilderness Wood, Hadlow Down TN22 4HJ
(We meet at the play area situated behind The Hatch at 10:30am sharp.)

Booking is essential. Our forest school groups fill up fast!
If booking within 48 hours of the session, please ensure you introduce yourself to our Forest School leader by the mud kitchen at 10:30am, as the list may not be fully updated.

We have three ticket options including a discounted price for Wilderness Wood members. Please ensure you choose the right ticket accordingly.

• Tickets for non-members of Wilderness Wood
• Tickets for siblings (pre-walking siblings are free)
