Join us to make traditional damper bread in the wild with Mel your leader!
As the bake off begins mixing and matching an array of ingredients for a taste sensation.
Once we are all ready and have packed up all the baking equipment we will go into the wood and find a good spot to collect materials for a fire, and learn how to make a fire and cook dampers over the fire on a hazel/sweet chestnut stick.
What we supply is all the baking equipment and damper bread (Gluten free flour will be available)
What to bring: Bring along something to mix into your damper bread:
- herbs,
- rosemary,
- chocolate,
- cheese,
- marmite,
- garlic butter
Let the bake-off begin…
Age: 3 – 11 years, accompanying adult free(max two adults). Tickets are for children only. Baby siblings free/welcome.
Note. Please arrive and be ready to go 10 mins before the workshop starts, the group can be anywhere in the woods and it may be hard to find the them.
