Monday through to Friday Term time we offer famly forests schools open to any child between 2 – 5 years, Baby siblings Under 2 FREE. It’s a nurturing, fun, creative space for children to learn, develop, grow in confidence and have lots of memorable first experiences with their grown-ups.  With lots of opportunities to explore, experiment and be part of a team , children learn about the woods, wildlife, the seasons, themselves and each other.

Explore, discover, create and make friends at our lovely Friday Forest School group, lead Karen.

Heres what Acorns will be getting up to this term……

We shall go on roams through the woods, balancing on logs, creating obstacle courses and
playing hiding games. Along the way we will collect woodland treasures to create great
natural works of art. Looking for signs of the new season: the changing colours of the
fluttering leaves, searching for spikey seeds & bright coloured berries. We will look for clues
that the woodland creatures will leave. Following trails left by muddy footprints.
We will sit and search for creatures, looking up amongst the branches for birds, squirrels
scampering or insects flying around, exploring the woodland floor for holes dug into the
mud. Combining stories, games, and songs to delight and inspire young hearts and minds and
deepen their relationship with nature and developing friendships on the way.
