10:00 am - 12:00 pm
We are excited to host our Thursday sessions at WILDERNESS WOOD HADLOW DOWN.
The Thursday sessions will be running throughout term time and for children between the ages 4/5yrs – 10yrs. We can be flexible if you have older or younger children. The activities will run from 10.00am – 12pm, so plenty of time to create a campfire and cook something delicious, either from the woodland or from our own explorer bags.
We aim to create a nurturing, creative and encouraging space for children and adults to develop in every possible way the group plan together and take the Childrens’ lead. The woodland has a lot to offer us and we will endeavour to keep our eyes open to make the most of its knowledge. Activities will be led by the participants, the weather and the seasons. Therefore, come equipped dressed for every occasion, we are hardy explorers. We will not be following a prescribed agenda of expectations. Home-school sessions are truly child led and with the support of parents and carers we work as a team to ensure that every child is able to fulfil their curiosity and maximise their potential whilst in the wood. As the seasons change, the group evolves too. That’s the excitement of Forest School, you never can quite tell what each week will bring!
We can guarantee that friends will be made, fun will be had and life-long knowledge will be acquired.
Parents to accompany child to all the sessions. Get in touch if you want to discuss our Home-Ed sessions, siblings under the age always welcome and free until their 5th birthday!
