What we will get up to?
Come and explore the wonderful woods at Knowlands with your family to celebrate Fathers Day.
We will start with a nature scavenger hunt to warm up your hunter gatherer instincts and then there will be an invitation to hunt for materials to make your own mini raft using some new skills (or not new to the more bushcraft savvy of you).
Woodcraft tinkering, mucky kitchen, trucks, hammocks and other woodland play will also be readily available.
Successfully floating rafts will be rewarded with s’mores around the fire! (as will unsuccessfully floating rafts- forest school is all about the process and connection not the product!)

 0-99 years Max family of 5 – Please can you tell us how many Family members will be coming in booking. If you have more than 5 please can you email us and we can see if we have space.
What to wear and Bring
Bring a picnic Lunch/drink and a blanket –  we can enjoy lunch around the fire. Pudding is on us!! ( Marshmallows)
Comfy clothes you don’t mind getting mucky…
Hat for warmth/sun protection
Depending on weather waterproofs/trousers/all in one.
